Towards Knowledge Management
ELECTRÉN works with a Quality Management System based on the international standard ISO 9001:2008, on which the structure of the other sub-systems are based (Environmental Management, Health and Safety Management, R&D&I, Information Technologies, etc.). Complementary and supporting processes fall within the quality sub-system, including Training and Awareness, Audits, Indicators and Targets, External and Internal Communication, Client Feedback and others.
Our approach is based on the management by processes by identifying internal and external clients for each process so the different areas and departments are links which connect, through the supply chain, from the end client to ELECTRÉN’s suppliers and sub-contractors.
The ongoing improvement policy is based on the active participation of workers, the meeting of different follow-up committees, the establishment of targets and goals and the approval of improvement proposals, among others.
One of ELECTRÉN’s strengths is the management of the company information since it implements mechanisms that allow for the induction, training and awareness necessary for working in the company and make it possible to promote internally; those mechanisms also improve the adaptation process of new workers and increase performance in comprehensive basic aspects such as health and safety, quality and environmental protection.
